WordPress is a powerful platform to organise almost any type of content management system, such as Blog, E-Commerce, Portal on your Website. Managing different products and its hierarchy is very handy and so are the bulk publishing tools. In this article, we learn about how to bulk edit or publish WooCommerce Products in WordPress.
Bulk Edit WooCommerce Products
To locate bulk actions in WordPress, navigate to Dashboard > All Pages. Just below the Pages Heading and above the pages listing, there is a drop-down selection box “Bulk Actions“. In contrast, this selection box extend bulk editing capabilities for our content management system.
To use bulk editing functionality, we must select the checkboxes located next to post titles. Because we are editing the Woocommerce products in bulk. After multi-selecting the pages, select “Edit” to bulk edit the WordPress products. Or “Move to Bin” to trash all the Woocommerce products together.

If you select “Edit” bulk action, then we get the following options, as visible in the screenshot below.
On the left most pane, it shows the selected product items, followed by the product categories, status, product data. This method is very useful to assign a single product category to multiple products.
Bulk Publish Woocommerce Products
To change the Status of the product from draft to Published or Pending Review, click on the Status selection box. Select “Published” option followed by “Update” button to change the status of the WordPress products.
Bulk Edit Product Price, Sale Price, Tax & Stock
To change the price, tax, shipping class or stock of the product, click on the selection boxes under Product data. Select desired options followed by “Update” button to apply changes to all the WordPress products.

Once you press the update button, WordPress will perform bulk actions to the WordPress pages.
Note: All actions performed cannot be rolled back, hence update with utmost of care.
Does this mean that if I upload four posts, then want to schedule them together for a certain common time, I can use bulk action button and schedule them together?
Yes, you’re correct. Bulk editing actions are very productive in case of multi-author blogs and you can use it in the best possible way. 🙂
